Throughout this 8-week experience, students will tap into their imagination and learn acting techniques to help them build confidence on stage. The last day of class, there will be an exciting showcase for friends and family - bring your cameras! It is 1944. Imprisoned at Terezin Camp in Czechoslovakia, Austrian artist Friedl Dicker-Brandeis uses her art lessons to help the children cope with the realities of their daily existence. Despite the terrible conditions, the community is forced to contribute to Nazi propaganda. They devise a plan to communicate with visitors from the International Red Cross.

We are proud to once again partner with the National Jewish Theater Foundation (NJTF) - Holocaust Theater International Initiative (HTII) to commemorate its ongoing Remembrance Day Readings program.

This JCompany season will be free for all audience members thanks to the generosity of our JCompany Jewels. To become a Jewel, please visit jcompanysd.org
