Description: Dr. Edith Eger was a young Jewish woman living in Hungary when Hitler came to power. As a teenager, she and her family were force to board a cattle car and shipped to Auschwitz. Her latest book, The Choice, chronicles her struggle to stay alive as she was forced to dance for her life to please Dr. Mengele, while her parents perished in the gas chambers. Dr. Eger will recount her struggle to survive and transform her life of victimization to that of personal empowerment.
