Description: Please join the lively discussion as the group discusses "Pachinko," one of the New York Times Book Reviews' best books of 2017. "Pachinko" chronicles four generations of an ethnic Korean family from Japanese-occupied Korea to Japan in the late 1980s....The slot-machine-like game [prevalent] in Japan unifies the central concerns of identity, homeland and belonging.

Notes: Hadassah membership is required. Light snacks will be served. The group meets the first Wednesday of every month. "The Underground Railroad" by Colson Whitehead will be discussed on Wednesday, April 4.
