Rabbi Hirsch Piekarski is a warm, caring, and energetic person who is the spiritual director of Chabad Jewish Center – Del Mar. He is a native Californian whose parents started the Jewish community in Long Beach in the 60’s. Rabbi Piekarski studied in Yeshivas in Israel, New York and Australia. He received his Rabbinical Ordination Smicha at Central Yeshiva Tomchei Tmimim Lubavitz in New York.

Rabbi Piekarski and his wife, Chanie together with their four children reside in Carmel Valley, and have both served the Jewish community with devotion for over 10 years.
