CANCER SPIRITUAL SUPPORT GROUP

A spiritual support group for Jewish cancer patients and survivors. This group meets on a weekly basis to explore Jewish healing through Jewish texts, poetry, and prayer.

Instructor: Rabbi Aliza Berk

Rabbi Aliza Berk is the Jewish Healing Center Chaplain. She is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Spiritual Director. When Rabbi Berk works with individual clients, she draws upon her “spiritual tool box” that includes guided meditation, chanting, prayer, creative expression, spiritual direction and knowledge of the psychological underpinnings of chronic illness and loss.
