Jewish/Polish Posters:

Communist Era to Present A Collection of Contemporary Posters, New York
November 29, 2007-February 22, 2008

Book/Art: Celebrating Books of Bay Park PressJewish themed posters produced during the post-war Communist
era and since 1989 encompass a diversity of fields including exhibits,
festivals, books, film, opera and theatre. These posters are recognized as the best in contemporary poster art. They are more than aloof graphic designs; their images not only capture the essence of the subject, but also contain the artists' commentaries. Thus, the art of the world-famous Polish School of Posters should be more than viewed; it should be read, pondered and digested. Join us for this fascinating exhibit and special events.
